The Jim Olive Photography vs University of Houston case is a very good example of copyright infringement. I agree with your discussion fully that the university should not have used Jim Olive’s photo without their permission. They should have approached Jim Olive Photography and found a way to agree on a payment in order to use the photo depending on Jim Olive’s terms. It was also wise of the judge to allow the court case to proceed.
